Brian and Clive form NEMS Enterprises Limited, in which they are directors and shareholders.

Ron White writes Brian, on knowing of the Beatles' contract with George Martin.

Joe Flannery forms his booking agency Carleton Brook Management.

1963
'Please Please Me' LP, 14th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

John and Paul compose 'She Loves You' at their hotel room in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

1964
US LP release: 'A Hard Day's Night'.

Concert in Christchurch, New Zealand.

1966
Arrival in Hamburg. Concert at the Erns Merck Halle, Hamburg. End of tour of Germany.
In downtown, fans face the police hours before the show.

John visits Astrid, who gives him some letters written by Stuart shortly before dying.
