Worldwide radio broadcast of 'Real Love' begins.

London newspaper 'Sun' reports that two robbers arrested by the police knew of a $ 150,000 plan to assassinate Paul, which was dismissed by a Paul spokesman.

Ringo marries Maureen Cox. Brian is best man. John and George attend.
8.15am. Ringo and Maureen arrive at the Caxton Hall Register Office, London, with their parents.
Ringo and Maureen go to Brighton, on wedding trip.

1966
Tommy Quickly leaves NEMS Enterprises and signs for the George Cooper Organization.

UK single release: 'Woman', with Peter and Gordon.

1968
Studio 3. 4.00pm-2.00am. Recording: 'Hey Bulldog' (takes 1-10). Mono mixing: 'Hey Bulldog' (remixes 1, 2, from take 10). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald.
On mixing, it is decided to keep the complete end of 'Hey Bulldog'. The group is filmed for 'Lady Madonna' clip.

The Beatles are ejected from a ballroom for wearing leather jackets.

6.30. The Beatles and Brian leave from London to New York (Flight 101, Pan Am).
13.35. Arrival at the US for a 10-day tour, at the Kennedy Airport, New York.
Press conference at the Kennedy Airport. The Beatles are taken to the Plaza Hotel.
Photographer Dezo Hoffmann is with them at both airports ard during the flight.
George gets a flu.

UK EP release: 'All My Loving'.

'New Musical Express' reveals that Brian has turned down an 8000 pounds offer for the Beatles to play a concert at the Madison Square Garden. It speculates that the Beatles talked Brian out of a 'big deal' with Bernard Delfont. And it says that one can 'discount rumours linking Alma Cogan's name romantically with Brian Epstein'.

Baroness Erisso approaches Brian about the possibility of his signing her daughter, Marianne Faithfull, to NEMS Enterprises.

Shooting of 'Penny Lane' clip.
12.00 noon approx. The Beatles meet behind the Royal Theatre, Stratford, London.
Shooting of horse scenes and others, standing in front of the Theatre Royal, and of John walking up and down Angel Lane.

Shepperton Film Studios. Brian tele-recording for 'Hullabaloo', interviewing and presenting the Searchers, Billy J. Kramer, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, Georgie Fame, Joe Brown, and the Moody Blues.

Maclen (Music) Limited, publishing company for Lennon and McCartney, is incorporated, with Brian one of its opening directors.

1966
Garrick Theatre, London. George and Pattie, with Brian, see the play 'Little Malcolm And His Struggle Against The Eunuchs'.

1967
Manager Gordon Mills considers Epstein's offer for a Tom Jones season at the Saville Theatre.
Brian is set for a holiday in Mexico next month.
A Rolls-Royce Pahntom V is the last Brian's pride and joy.
In a new ruling at the Saville Theatre, comperes must not mention Epstein's name.

1968

US Attorney General John Mitchell receives a secret memo from Senator Strom Thurmond, suggesting that John be deported.

Brian announces his concerts series 'Pops Alive!' for the Prince Of Wales Theatre, London, 2 houses a night.
Brian announces that Subafilms will produce for worldwide release through United Artists the Gerry and the Pacemakers film 'Ferry Cross The Mersey'.

US gold certification: 'Meet The Beatles!'
US gold certification: 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'/'I Saw Her Standing There'.

1965

Start of Helen Shapiro Tour, with Danny Williams, Kenny Linch, Kestrels, and the Red Price Orchestra. 1st Beatles British tour. Concert at the Gaumont, Bradford. Performance filmed for complete transmision on ABC-TV and, later, partial transmision on 'Thank Your Lucky Stars'.

1966
'We Can Work It Out', 9th week in the Top 30 (UK New Musical Express chart).
'Rubber Soul' number 1, 9th week (UK New Musical Express chart).

End of D'Oyly Carte Opera performances at the Saville Theatre.

1967

Start of validity of contract with Brian.
Performance at the Thistle Cafe, West Kirkby, Wirral. 1st gig under Brian's management.

1963
Preparation for 1st British tour.

3 concert promoters, Arthur Howes, Paul Cave and Harold Fielding, contact Brian, vying for the chance to present Beatles shows at seaside resorts in the summer.

1964
'With The Beatles' number 1, 9th week (UK Record Retailer chart).
'I Want To Hold Your Hand' number 1, 1st week; 3rd week in the Top 100 (Billboard).
'She Loves You', 2nd week in the Top 100 (Billboard).
'Please Please Me', 1st week in the Top 100 (Billboard).

Celebration dinner, with Brian, at the George V Hotel, Paris.

1965
US EP release: '4 By The Beatles'.

Brian announces new plans for Cilla Black: performances on 'Sunday Night at the London Palladium' and at the Persian Room, at the Plaza Hotel, New York.

1966

Merger of the Vic Lewis Organization and NEMS Enterprises commences legally. Vic Lewis becomes a director of NEMS Enterprises.

1967

Studio 2. 7.00pm-2.30am. Recording: 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' (takes 1-9). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.

John sends his Rolls Royce to USA, for his personal use.
