Recording of several interviews for the BBC.

News arrive from the USA at the George V hotel, Paris, that 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' is number 1 (US Cashbox chart). The celebrations that follow are so exultant that Brian allows himself to be photographed wearing a chamber-pot on his head.

Performance at the Olympia, Paris, with Silvie Vartan and Trini Lopez.

1965
'Beatles For Sale' number 1, 5th week (UK Record Retailer chart).

'Another Beatles Christmas Show' at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (two performances). Last day.

Trip to Birmingham, with Brian. Recording of performance for 'Thank Your Lucky Stars', at ABC-TV's Birmingham Studios. National TV debut. During the recording, Brian meets Andrew Oldham.

Pacermusic Limited, new publishing company for Gerry Marsden, is incorporated, with Brian one of its opening directors.

1965
'I Feel Fine', 7th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

'Another Beatles Christmas Show' at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (two performances).

1967
NEMS Enterprises and the Robert Stigwood Organization amalgamate. NEMS becomes representation or management agency of: the Who, Cream, the Merseys, Crispian St Peters, Lord Sutch, Oscar. Brian becomes chairman of the board of directors of NEMS, and is made a director of the Robert Stigwood Organization Limited and Drapleaf Limited.

Evening: Brian goes to the club Bag O'Nails to see the Jimmy Hendrix Experience perform.

1968

Recording of various effects (scat singing, bell) for 'Penny Lane'.

'I Want To Hold Your Hand' slowly climbs up the US charts.

John declares that the slow ascention of 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' in the US charts was ''mere sympathy for British people'', and that he didn't expect being a hit in the US.

1965
'Beatles For Sale' number 1, 4th week (UK Record Retailer chart).
'I Feel Fine' number 1, 3rd and last week (Billboard).

'Another Beatles Christmas Show' at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (two performances).

John appears on BBC-TV's 'Not Only... But Also', reading one of his poems.

'Daily Express' publishes a photograph of the Beatles at the Boat Show, at the Earl's Court Exhibition Building.

1966
Brian flies from New York to Bahamas.
Brian flies from Bahamas to the Virgin Islands, on vacation. [?]

1967

Party hosted by Mick Jagger at his house, 13a Bryanston Mews East, Marylebone, London, attended by John, George and Ringo.

Brian, dressed as a clown, attends a fancy dress party thrown by Georgie Fame at the Cromwellian club, celebrating the 21st birthday of his bride, Carmen Jimenez.

The Playhouse Theatre, London. 2.30-4.00pm. Recoding for BBC's 'Saturday Club': 'All My Loving'; 'Money (That's What I Want)'; 'The Hippy Hippy Shake'; 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'; 'Roll Over Beethoven'; 'Johnnie B. Goode'; 'I Wanna Be Your Man'.
Only known recording of 'Johnnie B. Goode'. 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' is the same version recorded 17 December 1963.

1965
'Another Beatles Christmas Show' at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (two performances).

The New Christy Minstrels arrive in the UK from America. 1st American act presented in the UK by Brian. Reception in their honour at the US Embassy in London. Brian attends.

1967
Epstein applies for a special license to show cinema films at the Saville Theatre at midnight on Sundays, after the concerts.

Newspapers report that Epstein, Robert Stigwood and Georgie Fame were spotted deep in conversation at the Bag O'Nails club, London, recently.

''Yesterday'... And Today', 29th week in the Top 200 (Billboard).

1968
George flies to India for 5 days of sessions for 'Wonderwall'.
