1955
Brian is appointed a director of I. Epstein & Sons (Liverpool) Limited, one of the two furniture-dealing sides of the family business.

1961
'Mersey Beat' publishes an article by Bob Wooler about the Beatles.

1963
'Please Please Me' LP number 1, 17th week (UK Record Retailer chart).

Concert at the Odeon Cinema, Southport, with Tommy Quickly and Gerry and the Pacemakers.

1965
Concert at the Cow Palace, San Francisco.
Last concert of the 1965 US tour. As the Beatles leave the Cow Palace, a crowd of fans climbs on top of their limousine, crushing it.

1966
'Yellow Submarine', 4th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

'Eleanor Rigby', 4th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

1967
It is announced that the Beatles will take the administration of their own business interests.

1968
'Hey Jude' enters the Billboard ranking at number 10, a record for this singles chart.

1969
George, Ringo, John, Pattie, Maureen and Yoko attend the Festival of the Isle of Wight, to see the Dylan show.

1974
John declares before the Federal Court that Nixon's government tried to deport him for having been one of the organizers of the anti-war march during the republican convention in Miami, 1972.

1983
Studio 2. Show 'The Beatles At Abbey Road' (3 times).
