It is announced that Gerry and the Pacemakers will star in a Christmas pantomime, 'Babes In The Wood'. It will be promoted by Brian with Joe Collins.

Madison Square Garden, New York. 'One To One Concert', to raise money for Willowbrook, institution for children with physical or mental defects. 2 shows (afternoon, 2.00pm; evening), featuring John Lennon, Stevie Wonder and others, organized by John and Yoko. Filmed by ABC-TV.

World premiere of the film 'Erection' in New York.
