Studio 2. 7.00-10.45pm. Recording: 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' (takes 1-11); 'Money (That's What I Want)' (takes 1-7); 'Devil In Her Heart' (takes 1-6); 'Till There Was You' (takes 1-3). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Norman Smith; 2nd Engineer: Richard Langham.
First session for 'With The Beatles' LP.

1966
Epstein announces that Cilla Black is to co-star with Frankie Howerd in the review 'Way Out In Piccadilly'.

1968
Studio 2. 2.30-9.30pm. Recording: 'Cry Baby Cry' (overdub onto take 12).
Studio 2. 10.30pm-3.30am. Recording: 'Helter Skelter' (takes 1-3). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Ken Scott; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.
Take 3 of 'Helter Skelter' lasted 27'11'', the longest Beatle recording ever. (It was not used for the released version.)

1969
Studio 3. 2.30-8.30pm. Recording: 'Oh! Darling' (overdub onto take 26); 'Octopus's Garden' (overdub onto take 32).
Studio 2 (control room only). 8.00-10.30pm. Mono mixing: 'Octopus's Garden' (remixes 1-7, from take 32). Stereo mixing: 'Octopus's Garden' (remixes 10-14, from take 32). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Phil McDonald; 2nd Engineer: Alan Parsons.
Recording of Paul's vocal trial for 'Oh! Darling'.

1970
'Live Peace In Toronto', 28th week in the ranking (Billboard).

1983
Studio 2. Start of the show 'The Beatles at Abbey Road', 3 times in the day, while the upstairs control room is being equipped with a new recording console. It runs until 11 September 1983.
