Beatles History For January 27

1964
US LP re-release: 'Introducing The Beatles'.
US single release: 'My Bonnie'.

1965

'I Feel Fine', 9th week in the Top 30 (UK New Musical Express chart).

John flies to the Alpes to practice ski for 10 days. He goes with Cynthia, George Martin and Judy Martin.

1967
Signing of 9-year contract with EMI.

Start of UK Four Tops tour, at the Gaumont Cinema, Southampton.

1969

Apple Studios. Time unknown. Recording: 'Untitled Jamming'; 'Get Back'; 'Oh! Darling'; 'Get Back'; 'I've Got A Feeling'; 'The Walk'; 'I've Got A Feeling'. Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Glyn Johns; 2nd Engineer: Alan Parsons.

1970
Studio 2 (control room only). 10.00-11.30am. Stereo mixing: 'The Inner Light' (remix 1, from take 6). Producer: Geoff Emerick; Engineer: Peter Bown/Jeff Jarratt; 2nd Engineer: John Barrett.
Remix of 'The Inner Light' for eventual future use. Last session of Emerick.

Studio 3. 7.00pm. John starts recording of 'Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)'.
Upon George's suggestion, Phil Spector produces the session.
